What's In A Name?

Kaivalya (“absolute freedom”):

the state of absolute freedom from conditioned existence, as explained in ashta-anga-yoga; in the nondualistic (advaita) traditions of India, this is usually called moksha or mukti (meaning “release” from the fetters of ignorance, or avidya).

The word Kaivalya is Sanskrit, meaning isolation and freedom from one’s conditioned existence. When we step into our hoop, we step out of the mundane and into a sacred space of spirit-energy, which we manifest into the manifold. In good spirits, we wish to share these spiraling sensations with others through performance, instruction, hoop making, and a mobilous bliss of enthusiastic exercise: Full Cycle, Full Circle. As is The Way of the Hoop: What goes around, comes back around.
